Memorial Lecture
Sherborne was always well visited by pilgrims, through-travellers and tourists. Many pubs and a thriving brewing industry were essential to meeting their needs and those of the local population. This talk, by a well-known local expert, traces a vital theme in the economic and social history of our town.
