Memorial Lecture

Sherborne was always well visited by pilgrims, through-travellers and tourists. Many pubs and a thriving brewing industry were essential to meeting their needs and those of the local population. This talk, by a well-known local expert, traces a vital theme in the economic and social history of our town.

Barry Brock is Chairman of the Sherborne Town Museum Association and former Manager of the Dorset Family History Centre, Sherborne.
