This talk takes us through Saxon History via towns such as Meissen, Zittau, Gorlitz, Bautzen, Leipsig, Chemitz and Dresden; the landscapes of the Ore mountains, and the River Elbe,   the royal palaces, the most notable Electors and Kings and Saxony’s cultural history including Dresden china, the royal collections and  JS Bach.

Frank Pattison is a very experienced and well known  lecturer on Germany and many aspects of its history.
