Without Let or Hindrance: the story of passports

An amusing, illustrated talk by the author of The Passport - the history of man's most travelled document (2003). Having spent over 20 years stamping passports for HM Government, he decided to research the evolution of this indispensable, if sometimes taken-for-granted, document.

Martin Lloyd is a writer of travel humour books, including The Trouble with France (2004), and a novelist, including The Chinese Transfer (2006).
